Location Buenavista del Norte is located in the extreme northwest of the island of Tenerife. It is one of the few villages that have preserved the tradition of ox breeding.
The municipal capital is located in the centre of Buenavista, situated at 120 m above sea level.
The name "Buenavista" (Beautiful View) is due to the astonishment of the Castilian conquerors when they saw the beauty of the land. The estate is close to beaches, residential areas, golf courses, Teno Rural Park, its lighthouse and views of the municipality of Los Gigantes.
Throughout this area there are mild temperatures with annual averages of around 20° C and scarce and irregular rainfall. In the surrounding area, in Teno Bajo, aridity and heat increase (23° C on average). In the midlands, the influence of the trade winds and the lesser influence of the sea make the temperature contrasts between day and night more evident. A few metres further south, the dryness and heat increase, with environmental conditions more similar to those in the south of the island.
